This guide follows the actual BhojMandu app flow — the same steps on Android, iOS, and web.bhojmandu.com. BhojMandu is a multi-module super app: you can order Food, shop Grocery (Quick.Gro), or send Gifts depending on your country and delivery zone.

Before you start
1. Download or open BhojMandu
- Android: Google Play
- iOS: App Store
- Web: web.bhojmandu.com (same checkout flow as the app)
2. Sign in, or continue as guest
On first launch the app may sign you in as a guest automatically so you can browse immediately. You can also:
- Sign in with phone/email or social login to save addresses, wallet balance, and order history.
- Tap Continue as guest on the sign-in screen to skip registration.
Guest checkout works for food orders — you will enter your name, phone number, and optional email at checkout.
3. Set your delivery location (required)
BhojMandu shows restaurants and stores based on your delivery zone. Set location before browsing:
- On the location screen, search your address or tap Use current location (allow GPS permission).
- Or open the map, drag the pin to your building, and confirm.
- Add details: house/flat number, street, floor, and a landmark so riders find you.
- Tap confirm — the app checks whether your pin is inside a service zone.
If you are outside the delivery zone, you will see an out of service message. Move the pin or try a nearby address. Saved addresses appear on checkout when you are logged in.
4. Choose your module — Food, Gifts, or Grocery
At the top of the home screen, use the module toggle when more than one module is available:
- Food — restaurant delivery, takeaway, and dine-in (where supported).
- Gifts — send gifts to Nepal (including from abroad on supported flows).
- Quick.Gro (Grocery) — grocery and essentials (shown when enabled in your zone).
Important: switching modules while your cart has items will clear the cart. Finish or clear your current order before switching.
Part A — Order food (step by step)
Step 1 — Browse restaurants
With the Food module selected and your location set:
- Scroll home banners, categories, and “near you” restaurant lists.
- Use search to find a restaurant or dish.
- Tap a restaurant to open its menu.
Restaurants shown depend on your zone, time of day, and whether the kitchen is open.
Step 2 — Add items to cart
- Tap a menu item.
- Choose variations (size, spice level, etc.) and add-ons if available.
- Set quantity and tap Add to cart.
- Repeat for more items from the same restaurant.
Adding items from a different restaurant may prompt you to clear the current cart — BhojMandu processes one restaurant per food order.
Step 3 — Review cart
Tap the cart icon. Check:
- Item names, quantities, and prices
- Restaurant name
- Subtotal before delivery and tax
Tap Proceed to checkout (or equivalent checkout button).
Step 4 — Checkout: delivery option
On the checkout screen, choose how you want the order (options depend on the restaurant):
- Home delivery — rider delivers to your address. Delivery fee and ETA show before you pay.
- Take away — pick up at the restaurant yourself (no delivery address needed).
- Dine in — eat at the restaurant (when the restaurant has dine-in enabled).
Takeaway and dine-in are not available for grocery or gift carts.
Step 5 — Delivery address
For home delivery:
- Logged-in users: select a saved address or add a new one.
- Guests: enter contact name, phone, email, and delivery details in the checkout form.
Double-check gate codes, landmarks, and phone number — the rider calls this number on arrival.
Step 6 — Regular or subscription order (if available)
Some subscribed restaurants offer Subscription orders (e.g. daily lunch). If shown:
- Regular — one-time order (most common).
- Subscription — choose schedule, date range, and frequency, then follow the subscription fields.
Subscription options only appear for eligible restaurants when you are logged in.
Step 7 — Schedule your order (optional)
If the restaurant supports scheduled orders, tap the time preference and pick a delivery slot for today or tomorrow. Otherwise your order is prepared for ASAP delivery.
Step 8 — Coupon, tips, and notes
- Coupon code — enter a valid promo code in the coupon section; discount applies before payment.
- Delivery man tips — optional tip for the rider (can be skipped).
- Order note — add cooking instructions or delivery notes for the restaurant/rider.
Step 9 — Review bill summary
Before paying, confirm the breakdown:
- Items subtotal
- Restaurant / item discounts
- Coupon discount
- Tax (VAT where applicable)
- Delivery fee (free delivery may apply on eligible orders)
- Service or packaging charges if shown
- Grand total
Step 10 — Choose payment method
Tap the payment section to open Payment method. Available options depend on your zone, order type, and country settings:
- Cash on delivery (COD) — pay the rider in cash when the food arrives (zone and order-value limits may apply).
- COD with advance — pay a percentage online first; pay the rest on delivery (when enabled).
- Digital payment — pay online via gateways configured for your country (see Nepal list below).
- BhojMandu wallet — pay from your in-app wallet balance (logged-in users; full or partial wallet pay when enabled).
- Offline payment — bank transfer instructions; upload payment proof when required.
Digital payments in Nepal
For Nepal food orders, BhojMandu supports:
- eSewa — intent payment opens the eSewa app on your phone; return to BhojMandu after approving.
- Khalti, Fonepay Checkout, Connect IPS, MyPay, Nepal Pay QR, Card Pay powered by NIC Asia Bank (domestic and international cards)

Step 11 — Place order
- Accept terms if prompted.
- Tap Place order.
- For digital payment, complete payment in the secure payment screen (in-app browser or external wallet app for eSewa intent).
- For COD, the order is sent to the restaurant immediately after confirmation.
Step 12 — Order confirmation
After successful placement you see an order success screen with your order ID. You can open My orders anytime from the app menu.
Step 13 — Track your order live
Open the order to see status updates and (for delivery) a live map. Typical food delivery stages in the app:
- Order placed
- Order confirmed — restaurant accepted
- Preparing food
- Food on the way — rider picked up and is en route (or Ready for handover for takeaway)
- Delivered

Step 14 — Receive your order
Meet the rider at your address or collect takeaway/dine-in at the restaurant. For COD, pay the amount shown on the order summary.
Step 15 — Cancel, refund, or reorder
- Cancel — possible before the restaurant accepts; after that contact support urgently.
- Refund — wrong or missing items: contact support within 24 hours. See refund policy.
- Reorder — open past orders from order history and order again.
Part B — Order grocery (Quick.Gro module)
- Switch to Quick.Gro on the home module toggle (only if grocery is enabled in your zone).
- Browse grocery categories and add products to cart.
- Open cart — grocery checkout uses the same payment and address flow as food, but takeaway and dine-in are not shown.
- Place order and track delivery from My orders.
Switching between Food and Grocery clears the cart — complete one order before changing modules.
Part C — Order gifts (Gifts module)
- Switch to Gifts on the home module toggle.
- Browse gift products and add to cart.
- At checkout, enter sender, recipient, and optional gift message details as shown.
- Delivery address is the recipient’s location in Nepal.
- Payment methods may differ for international gift orders (USD/card options where enabled). Digital methods for Nepal still include eSewa, Khalti, and cards per checkout.
- Track the gift order from My orders like a food delivery.

Multi-country — what changes by region
BhojMandu landing sites use country paths such as /np (Nepal), /au (Australia), /in (India), and /ae (UAE). The same app adapts to the country configured for your account and zone:

Modules (Food / Gifts / Grocery) and payment icons always come from live app settings — if an option is not shown at checkout, it is not enabled for your zone or order type.
Common issues
- No restaurants listed — move your location pin or check if it is after kitchen hours.
- Payment failed — retry digital payment or choose another method; for eSewa, ensure the app is installed and return to BhojMandu after paying.
- COD unavailable — order total may exceed the zone COD limit; use digital payment or wallet.
- Cart cleared unexpectedly — you switched Food / Gifts / Grocery modules or added items from another restaurant.
